MBI5981 is a specific power switch for scan type common cathode LED display. It has eight output channels, operates from 5V to 3.3V, and supports 2.5A maximum output current per channel. Moreover, MBI5981 has an internal circuit to eliminate ghosting which are a common problem of scan type LED displays.
